Import from Strong, Hevy or Boostcamp
Open Settings from the profile icon, then Data, then Import training history. Strong, Hevy, Boostcamp and generic CSV are on the format list, and any CSV with date, exercise, weight and reps columns works as Generic CSV.
Check the preview, then confirm
The preview shows the file name, the record count (one per set), the first sets and any warnings. Nothing changes until you tap Import.
Real exports, handled
Semicolon- and tab-separated files, comma decimals like 82,5, Hevy's date format and warm-up sets are all read. A warm-up stays a warm-up, and an RPE column becomes reps in reserve as 10 minus RPE.
Your exercises, matched
Names are matched to Fortior's exercise library by exact name, then by an alias only one exercise uses. A name that matches nothing becomes a custom exercise, and the preview warns you about any name that could mean more than one.
Suggested weights from your history
Imported sets from the past year can seed your suggested weights, so Fortior can aim your next weights from them instead of starting cold. Warm-ups don't count, and a lift with no usable history starts from a conservative estimate.
Cardio, food and recovery on top
Fortior adds cardio recording, food logging and recovery data to the same history. Record or import runs and rides, scan a barcode, connect Apple Health, WHOOP or Oura, and ask Ask Fortior about your own records.
Leave any time
In Settings → Data, Export complete JSON + CSV saves everything you logged. Import that JSON on another phone or account to restore it.
Questions
What comes across?
Date and workout name (rows with the same date, time and name become one workout), exercise, weight, reps, set order, notes, reps in reserve or RPE, set type such as warm-up, drop or failure, and duration or distance for rows that have them. Rows with no date, no exercise, or no reps, duration or distance are skipped, and the preview lists the first warnings.
What doesn't?
Routines, templates and programs, body measurements, photos and videos, supersets, and any column Fortior doesn't recognize. Workout end times don't come across either: imported workouts get a default length of one hour.
Will my pounds and kilograms be right?
Fortior reads the unit from the weight column's heading, such as Weight (lbs), or a Unit column. If the file doesn't say, it assumes the weight unit set in Fortior and shows a warning. The preview has a weight unit switch for kg or lb that re-reads the file.
Will I get duplicates?
Importing the exact same file twice adds nothing the second time. Two different exports that overlap import their shared workouts twice, and there's no one-tap undo, so import one complete export rather than several.
Do imported workouts affect my suggested weights?
They can. Sets from the past year can feed suggestions, older history isn't used, and warm-ups don't count. A set with no effort rating counts as 2 reps in reserve, so early estimates are approximate. Suggestions are estimates; adjust them to how the set feels.
Can I export from Fortior later?
Yes, any time. Settings → Data → Export complete JSON + CSV saves everything you logged. The CSV is laid out for spreadsheets, and the JSON can be imported on another phone or account.
Is Fortior affiliated with Strong or Hevy?
No. Strong and Hevy are names of their respective owners, and Fortior is not affiliated with them. The same goes for Boostcamp.
